Fun, Easy Upgrade for the PC9
The Mars Trigger FRT for the Ruger PC9 is probably one of the more interesting upgrades I've come across for the platform. Unlike the AK version, this is designed as a true drop in system, replacing the factory disconnector without requiring a complete trigger swap or gunsmithing, which makes the installation process much more straightforward. Once installed, the reset is extremely quick and positive, and it completely changes the personality of the PC9. The trigger feels much more responsive and the reset is very noticeable, especially when shooting at a faster pace. I also like that MARS kept the system relatively simple instead of trying to redesign the entire Ruger trigger group.
My biggest hesitation would be long term durability. There have been some reports from early users of the reset bar breaking after relatively low round counts, although MARS has reportedly been sending out an upgraded, thicker replacement part to affected customers. That's something I'd like to see more data on before calling the system completely proven. Aside from that, I think this is a really cool upgrade for the PC9 and probably one of the easiest ways to make the rifle feel completely different. If you already enjoy the Ruger platform and want something that makes it a lot more fun to shoot, the MARS PC9 FRT is definitly worth a look, I'd just keep an eye on that reset bar as more long term reviews start coming in.

Not exactly what I wanted
First off I want to say it works, if you want to mag dump that is. If you are looking for a double tap or something similar you might not like it. It works just fine until you release the trigger, after that it has to be reset so you have to work the slide and catch a live round before it will resum...

Poor craftsmanship and support
I received the FRT Trigger for my Ruger 9mm PC charger. Installation was super easy. took the gun to the range and operated fantastically. However, the quality of the device is subpar and below standard. Why do I say this, there is an allen screw on the tub of the trigger that protrudes out 3/8 of ...

Broke after less than 100 rds
Snapped and stuck a piece in the back of the steel in the receiver. Pretty neat for the 90 rds before that.

GREAT AND FUN TO SHOOT
I was originally skeptical about purchasing an FRT looked at many different types from drop in to assembly and found the Mars PC 9FRT to be the ideal trigger for me. Ordered from optics planet expecting to be 2 to 3 weeks for shipping, trigger arrived within four days. Whether it be single shot or repetitive fire, I really enjoyed this trigger the only bad part of my experience was the reset lever not fitting the original dowel pins for my trigger group, but with a small bit of work it was installed
Pros:
- Easy trigger adjustment and video QR code great for installing
Cons:
- Fitment was not exact plug and play
Best Used for:
- Plinking & fun
Would recommend: Yes

Great So Far
It's great so far. Installation was quick and easy following the video from the QR code. I've only run about 60 rounds through since installation, but it functioned well through the suppressed PC Charger.

It broke after 120rds
It broke after 120 rds of 115 grain ammo. Worst $300 I've ever spent. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF garbage PRODUCT.

Runs good until it doesn't.
This trigger ran for about 50 rounds and then the reset lever snapped because it is made from soft aluminum instead of hardened steel. It's almost like this manufacturer does't want you to have a reliable FRT...
Pros:
- works like it is supposed to
Cons:
- Breaks after 50 rds
Best Used for:
- nothing
