Solid, sleek, & maximizes the compact capabilities. Love MD gear. Prices are a bit tough to swallow but once and a while I get the opportunity to blow some extra $.

The product was labeled as fde. Had longer lead time. Op due better on the product description. The tube and main housing were FDE the brace was black. If i had known this, i wouldn't have waited the 6 weeks for it and would have purchased the cheaper all black unit. Disappointing �.

I love this brace and was able to add it to my IRWC ar-15 and it works flawlessly. I am impressed with the fit and finish and how simple the install was to complete.

Fits perfect with standard AR-15 and fits standard milspec buffer and spring as stated. highy recommended for ARP’s

I love this thing. The aesthetics are great, but most importantly, it functions well. It allows my pistol to be a little more compact for transport or for tight situations, but the fact that i can just grab it and rip back and it fully extends for quick action is great. Shouldering is comfortable. It doesnt dig in. Installation was super easy. It certainly isnt a cheap option, but its worth it.

Ordered the FDE which is more expensive. Upon opening I see half the brace is black and half tan. All photos show this as an all FDE brace. That’s what I wanted. If I knew it would be half black half faded anodized tan I would have went with another brand. Change the photos in the listing or this is just a slimy tactic.

I was trying to decided if wanted to get the Maxim Defense CCS Brace Gen 6 or the SB Tactical SBPDW Pistol Stabilizing Brace and after some research I went with the Maxim Defense CCS brace. The packaging it came in is super nice and when I opened the box and saw the brace I was like wow this thing drips quality. Fast forward 10 minutes and I had it installed on my 8.3" Blackout AR Pistol. It was super easy to install and it just took my 300 BO ARP to a whole new level. I was running a SBA4 prior and this Maxim Defense CCS brace just looks and feels so much better. The fit and finish is fantastic and I love the two QD sling mounts. Another huge plus for me was being able to use my existing buffer spring and buffer weight. Minor nitpick - when the brace is fully collapsed the rails blocks the rear takedown pin. Not a huge deal to push it the brace back one click to access it though. Honestly, this was probably one of the best upgrades to date for my 300 blackout. I highly recommend it.

This is the 2nd of this brace I have purchased and it is rock solid.

Love the product! However, I had to purchase the spring and buffer assembly separately. Still a great product.
