MaxEx canteen pouch
I found this pouch to be very well made. It works best with the GI issue canteen and not the other lighter grade units being sold. This pouch contains the canteen securely. The back of the pouch has Molle webbing, that will also accept ALICE clips that one can secure to the webbing of a belt. I use two covers plus canteens affixed to a small ruck I use for hiking. I secure these with Blackhawk speed clips and this works very well for my uses. These covers fit loose enough to accept a GI canteen cup also. All in all, this cover may not be for everyone, but if you don't utilize a bladder type water carrier and prefer the older style canteen for your purposes this should work just fine.

Nice product while in the field
I had been looking for for a canteen pouch for a while that would not only drain water while crossing a stream but also with the ability to hold a canteen cup without making noise while walking. Mexpedition made a good job with this product
