I’m building a chassis based hunting rifle and I wanted to be able to fold the stock so it’s more compact and packable. The operation is smooth and solid. This is exactly what I was hoping for. Additionally it was back ordered everywhere else.

The mdt folding stock adapter does not work unless your are 6ft 8 or taller. It adds so much lenth of pull to a chassis 1.75 inches. For the adverage person an additional half inch is way to much. Not a very though out product. If looking for a folding stock look elsewhere.

It feels and looks like it's great quality.
I'm glad I took my time to do the research on this site and other sites online in order to buy the correct folding adapter for my Hera Arms Triarri conversion for the G17 Gen 4.
I was thinking about getting the law tactical folding adapter but I did not need the use of a buffer Spring and those other components that moved. So I'm glad I stumbled upon this adapter. I was trying to get the one from the manufacturer Hera Arms, But it was just taking way too long for optic planets to process.
I bought the carbine to carbine adapter and it works flawlessly.

It’s a really high quality product but doesn’t work for my intended purpose. I’ll keep it for another use. I wanted to install a brace on a Remington 700 Chassis Pistol. The issue is that the “puck” is too thick for the shallow depth that Remington has for their chassis. Screwed all the way in, the puck leaves no room for the raised portion on the back of the adapter. The screw is also way to long, this I can fix. Will take the puck to a machinist to see if they can remove the approximately 1/2 the thickness. I called MDT and they don’t offer a thinner puck but have gotten the same feedback from other 700 CP owners. It’s nice stuff, but not for this application.

Works great. Locks up good. Put it on my rifle and it was very easy to install. You get what you pay for. Very tight tolerances. Would recommend for friend or enemy. It does add some overall length to the stock though..

This adapter is excellent! Mounted the Fixed to Fixed on my Sig556 using a Magpul UBR. When u open the box, at 1st it seems the adapter is too stiff & hard to fold. Buy once installed, the leverage with stock mounted gives it tge perfect amount of resistance to where it wont flop around when folded, yet still easy to unfold quickly. The quality is superb.
TO HELP WITH MANY QUESTIONS: THIS ADAPTER WILL ONLY WORK ON AR15's THAT USE A SHORT STROKE GAS PISTON SYSTEM! IF U HAVE A TRADITIONAL AR15 THAT USES DIRECT GAS IMPINGEMENT, THEN THIS ADAPTER WILL NOT WORK, CONTRARY TO SOME OF THE "EXPERT" ANSWERS IN TGE QUESTION SECTION. The BCG on traditional AR15's needs to be able to go all the way back into the stock/receiver extension/buffer tube to cycle properly. This adapter doesn't allow the BCG to go past the end of the receiver. Short stroke piston AR's & AR style bolt action rifle chassis ONLY!
