I ordered this to go with a MDT LSS chassis. The picture shows the buffer tube having a traditional flattened off threaded end. When I opened the package, it was more like the Aero enhanced buffer tube with bottom extension and a groove for the buffer retaining pin. This prevented the buffer tube from being threaded very far into the chassis, and the tube was very loose fitting. I had an unfinished Geissele lower, so I figured I'd see how it worked with an AR lower. The MDT tube still felt fairly loose when installed on the Geissele lower. The threads caught, but just too much play. I thought about sending it back to OP, but I had already thrown away the packaging the day before. I was happy with the MDT chassis and grip. Not so much with the buffer tube.
