On the ruger 16" 5,56 mm. - MDT Ruger American Short Action Field Stock Chassis System

Everyone had convinced me that the 5.56 NATO round was accurate so I bought the Ruger Ranch rifle in that caliber. I loved the action but the stock did not fit me at all. The MDT Field Stock is adjustable and way more comfortable. I now use iron sights, a red dot, and a 3x12x44 scope on this rifle. While this is a true "drop in" fit, there is a very specific way it needs to be installed and not enough instructions. I needed a 1/4 inch drive 3/16th hex socket, an extension, and a inch pound torque wrench. The mag release needs to be built after the action is torqued. There were no instructions for that either.
Take your time, think ahead, and do it right. You won't be disappointed !!
