These MDT weights are absolutely ideal when looking to add weight to the center apex or front end of a distance rifle system. I put two sets on a 300 win mag system by Sako and the forward weight decreased felt recoil more than expected.
Mdt forend weights
The MDT forend weights helped me stay on target and better spot my rounds. I was only able to attach one weight to each side of my Sako S20 6.5 PRC precision forend/stock configuration. I would recommend this item for long range plate shooting.

I am going to mention the one major drawback. The Mlok screws are way to small for thick wall MDT Tac-21 chassis go figure.
I had already bought all kinds of gun type bolts and mlok nuts ahead just incase. So it was not a big problem for me. I would get some bolts if you order this. Nice to have if you lose one anyway.
On to the plus. I had put a carbon fiber barrel on my rifle, inreasing accuracy but greatly decreasing front end weight. To keep dead on with bipod extended really took putting some front pressure on. I put 2 sets of these on and out of 1st 3 rounds 2 landed dead center 1/2 bullseye at 100 yards. The rest were close but off from my own shooting error most likely. The grouping was round on top of round with about 1/8th inch variation. Sucked up lot of the felt recoil as well. A must for an m-lok precision rifle.

Screws are too short.
Have to buy screw to fit mdt acc chassis. Thanks . There like 5/16” long need at least 1/2”. But quality is nice . A little expensive for 2 pcs of metal with minimum engraving. But there’s nothing else , or anyone else to buy these from. ( that have them in stock!)

Not the ones they have pictured.
The ones the have pictured are the older model which I was wanting. I prefer the way the look. Even asked I’m the question section and they said you would get the ones pictured, but you will not. Figured I’d order them and see what I got because you can’t seem to find the other ones anywhere. You will get the flat newer versions. They need to update their pictures.
