updated review on extended mag for bretta

After multiple range trips and a estimated 500 rounds through the extended mag, i will say i do like this mag, its held up, i will reiterate my feelings associated with the quality of the mags baseplate as i feel it is lesser quality but it has held up, im 50/50 with the quality of the actual baseplate material as using some style of more hardcore metal outer design would definitely make the mag overall feel complete and well balanced in terms of long term reliability. You get what you pay for but in this case, id definitely buy again and actually plan to.
Worth the money
These mags are a great upgrade to 15 round factory ones. The bigger base makes them easier to handle across the board especially when you try to do quick reloads with a mag holster. I used them for a 8 hour pistol class and had no malfunctions at all. They are made in Italy and are a quality mag. I couldn’t recommend these enough for M9 owners.

Slick coating, capacious, sturdy drop plates. Awesome!
Completely exceeded expectations. It's capacious, durable, and loads and unloads so smoothly. A huge step up from Beretta magazines, and even better than the Mec-Gar 18rd that was supplied with a Girsan Regard MC X.
The anti-friction coating is outstanding and makes cleaning a breeze.
The 20-round capacity is another huge plus. Probably not ideal for carry, but excellent for duty, range, match.
The baseplate is rugged and well-designed.
Mec-Gar knocked it out of the park with this design. Highly recommended!

Bretta m9 20 rd mags
The actual metal housing and spring of this magazine feels good, but the base plate feels super cheap. I could see the base cracking after a few good drops from chest level on hard ground. Compared to the same 17 round mags i also purchased, their base plate also had excessive movement from side to side and front to back. These are different mags then the ones that come with the m9'/92fs handguns.over all not horrible training mags but have a completely different quality feeling then the mags that came with my m9a4 especially emphasizing on the base plate.
