Any defensive weapon should have night sights. These are an excellent choice. They greatly improve front sight visibility in low light.
They were easy to install, took me only a few minutes. Delivery from Optics Planet was fast and efficient. Recommended.

Very pleased with sights. They pop at night, they look like 3 green lights shining at u! I woul recommend these sigts especially if u have a Walther pps m2. They are exactly like the factory sights in every way. Dimensionally they r exactly the same, plus u have the benefits of having Tritium. They also come with a new spring for rear windage adjustments.

You'll need a glock front site tool to install, but they're great sites. The rear sits a little high, but I like that. You can load the weapon on a belt loop easier. Full metal, very sturdy, and very visible in the dark.

I am just getting around to writing a review as I recently installed the sights and had a chance to make a range trip. The sights changed my point of impact 3" high at 7 yards using the same sight picture as the factory sights. A little bit of Kentucky windage and I could get on target but should not have to. I gave the sights 2 stars because they are very well built, were easy to install, glow bright, and had a great sight picture. I really wish they worked.
Pros:
- Well built, bright, easy install.
Cons:
- Drastically changed point of impact.

These sights are the best!! I had them installed on my Walther PPS M2 LE Edition. Way better than the factory sights that came with the handgun!! The sights glow a constant bright green both front and back.
Pros:
- GREAT PRICE
- Better that facory sights

Several issues with these sights. First of all, on my Gen 1 P99 the part of the slide where the front sight is installed is not thick enough and the threads in the sight not deep enough to allow the front sight screw to hold it securely. It rattles freely in the sight groove. Thinking there was a burr in the threads I incrementally added torque within reason, but the screw broke off right away. Now I can't return it per OpticsPlanet policy. Bummer.
Additionally, while I do not mind a higher POI from a handgun at close range (it is probably accurate at some further distance), the height of these sights is very obviously different from the factory sights on my gun, which are right on at 10 yards. The front sight is much shorter and the rear sight much higher. This will lead to comparatively high groupings.
The finish on the front sight is discolored and the green glow has appreciably dimmed compared to other Meprolight sights I own. I think these sights have been sitting in storage somewhere for an extended period of time.
OpticsPlanet needs to make it clear that these sights are NOT for the "P99 9mm, 40 Compact" but for the "P99 9mm Compact, 40 Compact" (high POI issue), and list incompatible models such as the Gen 1 P99 9mm.
Cons:
- Cannot be mounted or used

Great visibility. Easy to install. Gives my Walther a really nice look. Best price I could find. Opticsplanet has definitely found a new customer. My sights arrived promptly and checked all my boxes for a solid investment.
Pros:
- Bright ,well made, money well spent.

They're nice and bright, but that's the only good thing I can say about them. Since installing these sights, the gun is shooting roughly 5 inches high at 7 yards. In comparing the new sights to the original sights, the Meprolight front sight is shorter and the Meprolight rear sight is taller. The box insert that came with the sights I received is labeled as being for "P99, PPQ, PPQ 9/40" and marked with ML-18801, which is the correct model number according to the Meprolight web site. I assume it's unlikely I received the wrong sights as they fit on the gun, and I can find no information online indicating my generation of P99 had different height sights, but...
I contacted Meprolight and was told "It is possible there was an issue with the sights" and that they could be replaced under warranty. First I had to complete a 2 page RMA request that was sent to me in the form of a Word document... yes, a Word doc, in 2018. I sent it back the next day. I was then told "Once we get it back, we process the info in it (it takes a bit of time) and then you will get an RMA number which you will print on the outside of the package when you return the sights." It's been over 2 weeks now and I've heard nothing.
Based on my experience, I don't see how I could ever recommend dealing with Meprolight or any of their products.
Cons:
- Poor customer service
- Useless
- wrong height

I replaced the factory plastic 3 dot sights on my PPQ45 with the Meps. Installation was very easy and took less than 10 minutes. I used a dial caliper to center the rear site. POA/POI seemed to be eactly the same as factory sights. The only reason I gave 4 vs 5 stars is the Meprolights Tritium vials do not appear to be as bright as my Truglo sights on my CCP. They are still very good and the price was good also.
Pros:
- Price
- Ease of installation
- fit/finish
Cons:
- not quite as bright as expected
