Great stock kit.
I used an adaptor to install on my g-force 1. Ran through 16 rounds of 00buck.. minimal shoulder fatigue.. could have shot many more, if the shells weren't still so expensive.. wife shot it, three rounds.. said she would shoot again. She never got past one before, could not take the kick, she said it felt about like the 4-10.. that is a huge compliment from here...
The Best Kit for Mosberg 500 and Maverick 88!
In my opinion, Mesa Tactical LEO Gen II Hydraulic Recoil Starter Pack is the best Tactical Conversion kit for Mosberg 500 or Maverick 88 by far))) The LEO Gen II Adapter fits the shutgun reciever perfectly. As result you can use a verity of AR-15 styles Grips with a Beaver Tail or without it, from a different pistol grips makers such as Fab Defense, Ergo, Hogue, Magpul etc. Furthermore, with the two quick detauchment ports it become possible to use one or two point sling with no problems what so ever. Installed on my Beretta 1301 tactical Gen 3 and it was sturdy on high damp (HD) setting with 00Buck.
went through a few hundred round and felt like a cat paw is pushing you instead like a hard punch.
I had Remington 870 tactical pump with Blackhawk knoxx specops gen III coild/stock combo and by far the hydraulic works wonder.
By all means they both works great but since Knoxx are just polymer with coil set in between the gun and stock, this hydraulic is build way more sturdy and reliable and long lasting. you can't go wrong with this.
