Too heavy and pricey - Midwest Industries High QD Scope Mount

I have a couple Leupold Mark AR 30mm mounts. They're solid, lightweight, and they work perfectly, but they're mounted with 5 bolts. I wanted to try a QD mount instead. I bought this Midwest Industries mount, and I don't think it's worth the price. It's heavy. It feels secure and the QD works well, but the Leupold mounts cost half the price (around $80) and provides a precise reattachment every time. The Midwest mount feels indestructible, but the Leupold mount feels plenty sturdy too. If you drop your rifle hard enough to break the mount, you probably need a new scope too.
