Midwest Industries 45 Degree Offset Surefire Light Mount, M-LOK
This mount is awesome! It is a precision fit the surefire scout but fits my streamlight
hlx because it has the identical bolt pattern. It tucks the light nice and tight at
the 1:00 o clock position on my faxon m-loc rail. It has a cleaner and sleeker
mount due to its tucked in at the 1:oo o'clock position instead of hanging out at the
3:00 o'clock position.
A good upgrade for my weapon light
The 45 degree Surefire light mount moved the light nice and tight to the handrail on my AR.15. Perfect fit even the included screws worked for the Surefire Scout light.
Pros:
- Perfect Fit
Cons:
- A little pricey
Best Used for:
- Moving the light closer to the handrail

Does not fit Aero handguards
While solid, this mount will not work with any Aero handguards. The angles on the Atlas handguards are actually around 35 degrees, which will prevent this mount from sitting flush. The diameter and contours of the Enhanced handguards tell a similar story. It's sad because I actually liked how sturdy this mount looks and am a fan of Midwest Industries' products.

solid mount
This is a great mount compared to the Surefire equivalent or if you just want to mount the our light with this product. I swapped my surefire mount for this. Optics planet is always amazing and ships very fast. People who complain about in stock items don’t check their inventory to make sure its actually in stock. I’ll definitely be getting more of these mounts for my surefire lights.

45° offset mount
Purchased this item to mount a Surefire scout light. Was so perfect I ordered a second one when I discovered it would work with my Streamlight as well. A+ product. The mount sits tight at the 11 o'clock position but would work at other points as well. I would highly recommend if you are mounting a Surefire or Streamlight to your weapon platform.
Pros:
- quality material
- Rock solid lockup
- Surefire and streamlight
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Proper light placement

works great. solid lock up. beware using with modlite 18350 bodies though
Excellent quality mount. Works great on a variety of bodies. Although be careful using it with a Modlite 18350 body. No issues with the 18650 body though!
Nothing more to say.
Midwest does a good job with nearly all of its stuff

Solid mount
Save the 10 bucks get this over Arisaka, it’s machined well it’s a simple product works great. Made in the USA don’t see a reason to buy more expensive. Mounted up to a stream light HLX and aero upper no problem
Pros:
- Price
Cons:
- None

Solid scout mount
Let me start off my saying this product did NOT fit my rail, DiamondHead USA 15”, that being said the machining and finish are great. My DiamondHead USA rail appears to be a little none standard and more oval shaped than round therefore once attached to my rail the mount does not sit flush. No big deal, Optics Planet offered to refund or replace no hassle, I ended up keeping it anyways because my son is going to end up needing it eventually.
Pros:
- Fit
- Finish
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Standard rails

Very happy with my this item!
I thought good and long if I should buy this offset mount for my Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1 or the Arisaka Offset Scout Mount that gets very good reviews. I like that the MI mount has the recess for the lights "leggs" as apposed to just mounting on top of the Arisaka. I know that MI makes quality products. The only thing I really worried about is if the MI mount would position the light close to the rail. I am very happy I decided on the MI mount. It mounts super tight against my Aero Precision Atlas S-One handguard. I do not see how the Arisaka could pull the light in any tighter against the handguard. The only thing I can see the Arisaka has on the MI mount is the Arisaka has multiple mounting holes to adjust the light on the 45 angle. This has no advantage to me and I see a greater advantage of having the light recessed into the mount and being held by more than just the bolts. VERY NICE PRODUCT! I WILL ALWAYS BUY THIS OVER THE ARISAKA EVERYTIME I NEED A 45 OFFSET MOUNT!
Pros:
- Quality
- MOUNTS LIGHT TIGHT AGAINST HANDGUARD
- FULLY SUPPORTS LIGHT
Cons:
- I have found none
Would recommend: Yes

great mount
I just used this to attach my streamlight protac to my gun. The mounting is simple and straightforward. It’s a very solid mount and feels great on my gun. I’ve already ordered another. I would use this mount whenever I needed to mount a flashlight to a mlok rail.
Pros:
- Sturdy
- Easy Mount
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes
Tuck your gear in!
Everyone knows you have a sweet flashlight. It’s dangling out there for everyone (and everything) to get a good, close-up look. Tuck that thing in where it’s way less likely to catch on things....and clean up up your rail. It’s called leverage; move that weight closer to the center line, where it’s better supported. I love this 45 degree mount. I’ve been using Midwest Industries handguards, QD mounts and all sorts of rail attachments forever. It is all top quality stuff for your build. Made in Wisconsin!
Pros:
- WI, USA built quality part
Cons:
- None
