Bought this for my Zastava M90, the optic rail sits way too high above the dust cover... Not even in a good way, you still can't use iron sights below it. I've heard/seen the Gen 2 sits much closer to the dust cover, but I'm personally electing to go with a Master Mount as it has ACOG-like mount cap...

Wondering what I meant with the title? Well it’s too high, forget about a cheek weld, a chin weld is the closer truth. I originally ordered the Zastava mount for my M90. In typical fashion Optics planet sold me something they didn’t have in stock, didn’t know when it would be and never mentioned that before I ordered. So after 3 weeks they offered me this for an extra $30 bucks. It’s not that isn’t well made, it is. But at the height of almost 3/4” from the top of rail to the top of the dust cover it isn’t practical or useable, also you can’t use your irons, in BZO the rear is completely covered. It’s a rip off and I order a lot from OP. Well I guess I used to, won’t be back.

MI AK side mount
This thing fits like a glove, great product, threw a Romeo5 on it.

Fantastic mount
This went on tight and snug. Easy to put on and take off. I’m also a big fan on how to adjust the mount screw. Good gear.

Adjust as necessary
I mounted mine on a Zastava Yugo M70 and it did take some slight adjusting of the QD lock but since then has been snug and returns to zero very well, after several times of taking the mount on and off, especially with how these types of optic rails attach. An added bonus is that the coating on the aluminum has seemed to hold up well to my mild abuse of the weapon system since receiving it. I enjoy being able to remove my RDS for occasionally using irons or removing the dust cover for maintenance without needing to re-do my zero every time.

Fit perfectly
I slapped this bad boy on my PSA AK and it looks awesome. It took a minute to figure out but once I got it figured out its exactly what I wanted. It sits close to the cover but not so tight that it can't be removed. I put a Sig Romeo 7 red dot on and now I have the setup I was looking for. The shipping time was approximately a week which is pretty normal.

Cons:
- Non really...maybe a head scratcher to put on but nothing more really.
