Love the rail but when it came in it looked like it had been slid across ruff concrete
this rail is easy to install and rock solid. It brings the ak platform into to 21 sentry. With that being said I would not order it from optics planet this was my first time ordering from them and I'm very disappointed the outer box showed no damage and it was raped in bubble rap but it looked like it had been slide across concrete before packaging iv sent several emails and no response there are only miner scratches to the rail but still why would you package and ship a damaged product
Midwest Industries Extended M-Lok handguard
I’ve got these on both of My AKs. The extended is on a 16” WASR10 and the shorter version is on a PSA 10.5” pistol. It mounts up really solid and looks amazing. I had to do some very fine filing and fitment on the gas tube and one the shorter handguard to get it to slip in but the way I look at it is the fit is so tight there is absolutely no wiggle room so I’ll take it.

Excellent quality
Excellent quality great fit and appearance. Easy installation, no modification necessary. All hardware included and even comes with lok-tite which is always handy. The texture on the handguard is one the best I have ever felt. The little grooves are surprisingly effective.

Slim Long hand guard
I had my doubts when I first seen these on the web. After some thinking I decided to pull the trigger. It is simple to install with simple tools. I am very impressed with its slim design only thing I wish I would change is to add cut outs in the upper guard nearest the gas tube. Maybe they did at one point but the heat from the tube was to much for one to handle with bare hands.

Nicely made well done midwest
Well made hand guard.. price point is a bit high but on track with others. What stands our for me is its sleek design hugging the rifle in the right spots and giving room in other spots. It says to cut the sling loop but i removed the whole retainer since i will not be going back.

Not for Palmetto State Armory's AK-103
This is a good product. Midwest Industries should still be your go to choice AK related accessories. The top cover on this model wouldn't fit over my gas block and gas tube. Otherwise the quality and workmanship of this product were excellent.
