As the other reviews will attest, this is a well-made and solid hand guard. It is truly 'drop in' for a standard m4 carbine and I doubt most will need any type of delta ring tool to accomplish the install as it's installed one side at a time, so I don't find it to require any herculean strength to ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Disappointing Rattletrap
Purchased to replace/upgrade a Magpul SL handguard. The Magpul was a lot more solid. I've tried 2 of these in mid length on 2 different uppers. The handguard is well made and much lighter than my quad rail. I only wish they sent three mlok rail sections instead of just one, but a small gripe. Highly recommend.

I originally gave this a 1 star and said it was trash. After doing some research into why it didn’t fit I discovered it is compatible with a triangular hand guard stop and not a circular. After I replaced circular stop with the triangular it installed easily, looks great and feels fairly tight. I had to go to Midwest industry’s website to find this information.

It is a TIGHT fit, which is awesome. Extremely solid handguard. Does not move. I have both a Mid length and a Rifle length handguards installed. Zero regrets.

Midwest Industries M Lok Drop In Rail

I bought this hand guard for my AR. I love it. Plenty of space to mount accessories and was very easy to install on my gun. Only complaint is that it heats up fairly quickly after a few magazines. But that’s just a problem with rails in general. Overall, would buy again.

solid drop in

Bought this for my dissapator build, and i absolutely love it. It was a little tricky to get the top piece on, but it is rock solid when it's put together. Absolutely no wobble in my experience so far. Went with the mlok version to keep weight down and have it slimmer, and im very happy with it. Midwest industries products have never let me down.

Great handguard but fits a little loose

Great and sturdy handguard, like the east install of a drop in with the slimness of a MLOK. However, the handguard has some movement forward and backwards, especially when a fore grip is installed and pressure placed on it when firing. Not sure if it’s the handguard or if there’s something not quite right with the delta ring in my build.
