Great for the money
I have always been a fan of Midwest's product and are happy they are now into the trigger game.
This drop-in was an easy install and looks very similar to a GI trigger once installed, which i am a fan of.
The reset is super short and has a crisp single stage pull.
Highly recommend!

2 triggers, 2 fails
Worked great for about 20 rounds then the trigger quit resetting. I had to pull the trigger twice to make it reset and then the gun would go off when I released the trigger. I sent it in to MI who told me it was fine and sent it back. I reinstalled it and same problem. I took it to a gunsmith that s...

The BEST AR trigger for the money
Using this trigger in a lightweight SR25 build. Install is extremely quick and easy and I love that it comes with anti-walk pins. Trigger is really on par with the Zev SSR or Geissele triggers but at a fraction of the cost and is easier to install. I plan on putting this in all my future AR15/AR10 builds in the future. It does not come with the Allen key necessary to set the bottom pins, but you can get it at any hardware store and the instructions tell you what size you need.
Pros:
- Easy, quick install
- most durable materials used (treated s7 tool steel)
- best trigger I have and less cost
Cons:
- Does not come with an Allen key needed to set the bottom out screws
Best Used for:
- Ar-15, ar-10, sr-25

Midwest Industries Enhanced AR15 Drop-In Trigger
Advertised to be 3.5 lb, its not its it more like 4.5-5 lb based on my gage. Stay with the Rise trigger for low budgit trigger they are more consistant. I have purchased four Rise drop in triggers and all are within the advertized range of pull.
Pros:
- Low cost
Cons:
- Not consistent
Would recommend: No
Good. Perhaps not great but definitely good.
So far I've had perfect function with this trigger. The only thing that has really stood out to me is that it's not as "tight" as some of my other drop-in triggers from Rise Armament and CMC. It's got small but noticeable side-to-side play of the trigger itself (not the drop-in mechanism). It doesn't seem to effect anything including the firing, pull weight, etc but I guess I'm just hoping for a little more precision/QC from a company like Midwest, when the price-similar competition seem to have zero slop.
Pros:
- Crisp pull
Cons:
- side to side trigger play

Disappointment
Bought this based on a recommendation. I am sorry to say that this trigger a was a big disappointment. Truly surprised me being that MI is known for quality. First time out to the range, first 1 round land then Click!! the second round misfired. Ejected the round found a very light primer strike. Put magazine back in rack a round Boom!! Yay happy shooter. Pulled trigger for next round, and yup you guessed it Click!! now I am frustrated. Thought maybe it was short stroking. So changed to a lighter Buffer. No change. Finally after more trouble shooting I determined that when the rifle cycled the hammer was not locking and following the BCG back into battery. Well almost it was stopped just shy. The click I was hearing and the light hammer strike on the primer was the hammer being released from the first stage.
Pros:
- nice & easy fit
Cons:
- Does not work
Would recommend: No
Trigger was okay at first...
...but then, maybe six months in, I did a safety function check before a range day and it did the thing where the trigger goes off during reset. Bad situation, so I immediately put the trigger it replaced back in and everything was fine.
MI has a good reputation, but I've seen other reviews here that specify out of spec triggers so there seems to be a QC problem. I recently bought a scope base and while the MI option looked good, I couldn't get past my experience and went with other options.

Feels good
Trigger looks to be made of good quality. Gave it 4 stars because it was pulling between 3 to 3Lb 2oz on my gauge. I prefer 3lb myself but the 1 star taken away is due to not matching the specified weight of the trigger.

Excellent trigger upgrade to my AR15
I have some Midwest Industries handguards and sights in a few of my builds. Since I was very happy with the quality of those items purchasing this trigger was an easy decision. Trigger is clean and crisp. Just as good as more expensive ones I've purchased. Installation was a breeze and the anti walking pins supplied is an extra bonus especially if you purchase this for a new build. Some triggers don't even supply the pins. All in all I will be purchasing another one for my next build.
