A good upgrade without compromising weight
A solid upgrade compared to the original. You may find that the adjustable comb may not be tall enough for your face if using rail mounted optics. I have a relatively small face, and at the tallest setting it is just good enough for this application. The comb is also relatively small. This did not bother me, but your mileage may vary. The overall finish and tolerances are excellent. The checkering on the included plastic inserts provides a nice upgrade in overall grip, however they do leave a bit to be desired in terms of feel. Overall this is a substantial upgrade that provides a significant upgrade in durability & adjustability without sacrificing weight

Marlin Skeleton Stock
Pretty straight forward and takes only a few minutes to install. Well made, light weight, and looks great. The only thing that might be improved on would be the adjustable cheek piece. It seems to be a little short for my liking for the way I hold my cheek to the stock. If they were able to extend the cheek piece on both to the front and rear a little bit, that would make it a little more comfortable. They might be able to recess the cheek piece so it still sits flush along the top of the stock when in the fully lowered position. At the end of the day, it is still functional, but could be slightly more comfortable.
