excellant chassis
First of all I purchased a M-1 style stock for my 1022 a couple of years ago because this chassis was not in stock and had not been for several months. It was ok but not what I really wanted. Recently I found this chassis in stock at Optics Planet so I pulled the trigger. Im so glad I did. This allows a completely free floating barrel which is a must for true accuracy in the Ruger 1022.It made quite a bit of difference on a 100 yd shot. At 50 yds not as much. It may not matter to most to have 1/2" groups at 100 yds but to me it does. I like to have as much accuracy I can get with the lowest co...

Awsome Product!
I’ve been looking for an upgraded stock for my 10/22 carbon fiber rifle. I researched all different makes and models and finally decided to go with this one. This thing is awesome. It was very easy to install. I went to PSA and got a grip and buffer tube. I had an old adjustable stock that I put on it. This thing turned out great. It no longer looks like a boring 10/22. Highly recommended!!

Shipping was quick got in 4 days package was good. it was the midwest box in a bigger box with those bigger air buble packaging, no damage at all and the chassis was a perfect fit for the 10/22,

Poorly Packaged
Arrived poorly packaged with several holes in the box and a “ding” in the finish of the chassis. Due to the impending VA laws I have chosen not to return for fear of the process exceeding the date. The chassis itself looks very well made however, the packaging that this high end costing chassis was delivered in leaves something to be desired. I’ve never had issues with optics planet before so I’m hoping this is an anomaly

Great AR-Style Upgrade for the 10/22 – Solid Quality
I recently picked up the Midwest Industries MI Rifle Chassis for Ruger 10 22 from OpticsPlanet and have been really impressed with it so far
The first thing that stood out was the build quality It is solid well machined and everything fit my Ruger 10 22 perfectly without any issues Installation was straightforward especially since I already had a buffer tube stock and grip ready to go
What I really like about this chassis is how it transforms the 10 22 into more of an AR style platform It gives the rifle a much better feel and ergonomics especially for range use and plinking Paired with my 18 inch KIDD barrel and optic setup it balances nicely and feels great in hand
Another big plus is the customization Being able to run standard AR components gives you a lot of flexibility to set it up exactly how you want
Overall I am very happy with the purchase and the experience with OpticsPlanet If you are looking to modernize your 10 22 and want an AR style feel this is a great option

Good quality, good paint and material
Fit a new 10/22 with no issues. Not too heavy but not cheap feeling. Great way to add features and drastically change the appearance of your 10/22. Would buy again no question.
