Most Helpful Negative Review Good Enough for the One Job
Buffer Tube Review This style of buffer tube wrench is a must for tightening or removal of a castle nut on an AR pistol system. The buffer tube on most AR pistols are larger than for the carbine variant. I have several other tools (Magpul and a USGI) that I use to service the carbines. They will not fit to work on the pistol tubes. This tool got the job finished. However, this maybe a one time (limited time) use tool. Works well

I used this on windham src to remove factory end plate with bcm gunfighter QD end plate. Was very easy to use. Locked up well. Took me 3 minutes to swap out the end plate from locking it in vise to testing QD sling on rifle. Made the job easy.

Excellent tool, cost effective. I bought it because I trust Midwest industries and I was only building one lower and didn't want to spend a lot. It's durable lightweight and a must for any AR range bag.
