I love this handguard. It is light and surprising comfortable even without mlok covers. I do have have 3 problems with this product though. 1. The screws strip too easily. It says right in the directions to not take the handguard on and off due to this issue, but unfortunately for me it was too late. Simple solution is to put it on once and be done. 2. The ears on it do not align with all upper receivers. For example I am using a 2A Armament Palouse-Lite AR-15 Forged Upper Receiver and because of this the handguard tilts to the left. Nice and light weight

This is the third handguard of this design that I’ve bought. It is comfortable and lightweight with the titanium barrel nut. Mine got a little dinged up in shipping, but notwithstanding the scratch it is pretty nice.

Very light rail and simple to install (basic barrel nut). This is the lightest AR rail that I was able to find. It’s even lighter than the Daniel Defense M4V7 lightweight mlok rail. Highly recommended

Like a feather

If ounces equal pounds than this handguard will help shed some weight. I have the same style handguard from MI in 15" and there is a noticeable difference. Another feature that I love is the M-Lok on the top. This handguard fits perfect on a 14.5" barrel. Only downside is the super shiny barrel nut (titanium?). However, mounted it is not noticeable.

Great addition to any AR platform

Midwest Ind. Has done a great job on this hand-guard the fit and finish we’re perfect! Installation was a breeze. There was no play what so ever between the upper and the hand guard. I will be putting these on all my AR’s in the future.

Perfect for my build

Got this handguard along with some other Midwest Industries goodies to upgrade what used to be my budget AR. All of the MI parts I received have perfect machining and finish. mounting was easy with a vise and the included barrel nut adapter (same pattern as a castle nut) Having M-Lok slots run along the top as opposed to a Pic rail saves quite a bit of weight and makes it much more comfortable to grip. I wish OpticsPlanet would let customers add pictures to reviews because I want to show off how good this handguard looks on my rifle.
Overall a great product from a great local company.
