MI keeps sending its products with terrible screws. I had to get slightly longer screws at my local Lowe’s to make it work. The screws it comes with are barely long enough. Great Product!
This item provides great height from my vortex red dot, no more extremely low iron sights to struggle to look through. However, this product is pretty hard to install. It took me about 40 mins to master how this should be put on and screwed down. I found that on my MAC 5, the welds were not perfect, so I had to adjust how I was screwing it down to get the mount level, but after figuring out that it can be worked with to make it perfect, it is a great product because of the ability to adjust it.

Typical Midwest Industries Well Engineered Product
I bought this mount to fit on a MKE AP5. As stated in the title, this is a typical Midwest Industries well engineered and manufactured product. It fit my MKE AP5 well and was relatively quick to install. It comes with long screws which are needed to fit the AP5. Take note of the orientation of the metal pieces that clamp on the receiver. Install them exactly the same way with the longer screws. I installed the clamps on one side and then the other. It is a very solid mount and I highly recommend it. Optics Planet had the best price by far.

Excellent Quality Terrible Instructions
High quality optic mount with terrible instructions.It is tricky to install and not obvious.Undo the screws and little plates. Mount the device then slide the little plates in the rails and try to line up the screws. Some videos on you tube.

Affordable optic mount for HK SP5/SP5K
Well made and fit good on my HK SP5K. The small screws are tricky to mount but once you get one done the others should be easy. Make sure to use the long screws not the short one came with it. Half the price compared to B&T mount and HK mount with the same quality.

What I wanted
For my Mac MP5 clone. The hand guard fit perfect. Loctite and everything was used to secure the screws. Solid piece that will hold up to some knocking around and optics mount for my 50 year old eyes.
