Very good hanguard
I have tried many handguards from different manufacturers. The bcm is still my favorite overall, but this one is still excellent. Heavier by design, it feels very solid. If lightweight is the ultimate goal then this isn't the one for you. If you are willing to sacrifice lightness for durability I think this is an excellent choice.
Pretty Nice
Bought the Night Fighter handguard for an SBR build. I have purchased a few other Midwest Industries rails in the past and they always go together really well. I feel like there could have been a bit more contouring on the corners of the rail especially where it meets the upper as they are a little sharp. Overall a nice product though.
Pros:
- Fits well , seems well made, solid easy to install
Cons:
- rough

Midwest industries night fighter handguard
Midwest industries night fighter handguard . Nice fit and finish , works perfect with the odin works billet light weight upper , more of a semi gloss black than flat . Really like the way it locks up on the barrel nut . Great quality !!!

MI Night Fighter
This is the second time I bought the MI Night Fighter. The first time I got the 13.5" for a 16" upper build and it came out very nice. The most recent one I bought was 10.5" for an 11.3" upper build. To be honest I was worried that it would be to long but turns out it fits perfectly. There's about .2" of barrel exposed before the threads so of you are looking for a pretty flush looking setup then this is the way. It looks so good when i put my suppressor on and without it. I really like this rail - it's ao easy to install, has a longer barrel nut and the lock ip is solid. iI also like the tmaros and how slim it is. I have fhe combat rail also but I prefer the night fighter. Its great for mounting lights, lasers and other devices/accessories. This rail isn't going anywhere. I will probably buy it again and definitely recommend it.

13.5" Night Fighter
I've used Midwest Industries handguards in the past and they are high quality and easy to install. The Night Fighter is no different but I think it's even better than the rest. I like the longer barrel nut, it's lock up and how good it looks on my 16" build. The longer barrel nut allows for more rigidity and great for mounting lights, lasers and IR devices on the front of the rail. I got it on sale for around ~#180: and it was worth every penny. It now lives on one of my favorite rifles and I highly recommend it.

Great looking and high quality
I purchased this Handguard specifically for my M&P 15-22 along with a conversion kit to adapt this rail to that rifle. It fits very well and feels very solid on that rifle. I would absolutely recommend this rail for any AR or similar rifle.

Great hand guard
Great strong well made handguard.
Only wish they would start making one in a 15-in handguard also.

Can't go wrong with MI
I ordered the Night Fighter to complete a 14.5 build. The rail came with a few burrs between the mlok, minor dinks, and scratches. Being that its $200+, I expected a handguard in perfect comdition. Regardless, it will get alot of use so it ultimately doesnt bother me too much.
