Most Helpful Positive Review Beware, Can Break Charging Handle
Modification to my earlier review. Great addition for the SB brace but you need to get the right buffer or it will break your charging handle. I used my stock buffer on my LWRC PSD and after a couple dozen rounds with 55gr ball ammo, a flange on my charging handle broke apparently due to overtravel. Put the extra money in to buy the set instead of just the tube as your stock pistol buffer may not be the right length for the tube.

Good Customer Service

This is an edit to a previous review. After having a problem with the buffer tube and it essentially being ruined, MidWest customer service came through and resolved the problem, and replaced it. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again

Redesigned and cheap

by AO, from MD, United States Written on February 25, 2019
This buffer tube is no longer has the lip to stop the Sig Pistol Brace in place. Instead it leaves a couple inches of tube exposed. Buffer tube also broke while attempting to get the brace on. The threading actually sheered. $40 paper weight.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Cheap material
Best Used for:
  • Paperweight

A little tight

by Ryan, from AR, United States Written on June 3, 2018
Was a little bit of a tight fit with the SB brace, but it worked out. I just had to force the brace on. Once on, it has stayed in place despite being treated roughly. My weapons are tools, not safe queens.

Used this tube on a pistol build in .300 blackout.

Nice buffer tube

by Brad, from OH, United States Written on January 13, 2018
Good feeling buffer tube for a pistol build. This buffer tube feels solid, good threads. The sig brace fits perfectly over it. Feels like it’s made from quality materials. What more could you want from a pistol tube.
Pros:
  • Quality materials
  • sig brace fits over it perfectly
Cons:
  • None

Works well

by Bob, from CA, United States Written on January 6, 2018
I've used this with Colt parts. Colt M4 buffer, M4 buffer spring and bolt carrier group. Never an issue. The additional "shoulder" on the tube puts the Sig arm brace in just the right spot. The whole thing relies on friction to keep the arm brace in place and the two parts were made for each other like the old Reese's peanut butter cup commercials. Hey! You got chocolate on my peanut butter! Yeah, it's that good.
Pros:
  • works awesome
Cons:
  • Your buddies will be jealous
Best Used for:
  • Attracting chicks at the range

Perfect for an SB Brace

by gearjunky, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on June 15, 2017
Super easy to swap out with my regular AR pistol buffer tube. It also extends the back out and has a stop ring so that the SB brace fits perfectly flush in the back and extends the length perfectly.

Fit is a perfect press fit too. Tight enough it takes a bit of effort to put it on and keep it in place but not impossibly tight so install isn't a problem.

Solid quality.
