I've used their product on a Marlin 94 on .357. I appreciate the round hex shape vs the square round edges of others. I also wanted a longer handguard than the normal patterned hand guard that normally comes with the pattern of rifle.

The Midwest forend for the Rossi 92 lever rifle is well made, and after you figure out how to mount it, adjust and adjust a few times, you can cemter it, etc. but the written instructions are not that good, and they do not have a video that you can watch to figure out how the unit is mounted. It's not intuitive. you have to really try and try until you figure out the sequence that the parts are installed and adjusted for the correct robust mounting. once you figure out how it should be done, it actually is a nice robust mounted unit. It looks good, not squre and boxy looking like the higher price version, but more like the AR type . It's long and works and looks good on a 44mag/357 mag shorter 16.5" carbine. Now I will have to take one screw out at a time and lick tight it with blue loc tite. If you are not a type that works on things, it may be a challenge. I am a fprmer machinist and engineer . so find one thats easier to install or have someone who is a smith to install it.

Could use better directions to install. The rail is solid once installed great for grips and flashlights. I would buy it again for sure. Do some research on installing and it’s a breeze after that.
