big gap but tight fit

Easy yhe install and seems to be secure to the barrel but there is quite a gap between the top part of this quad rail and where the gas tube fits into the receiver. AK Hand Guard
1st, shipping and order processing was quick and product was received in 100% condition. I purchased one of these old school guards in 2011 or so. Changes were few. The lettering is not as pronounced, patent pending is now the patent number and overall finish went from satin to flat black. Nice product.

This by far is the best universal AK hand guard you can get for the price. Midwest Industries makes the best quality parts and accessories using 6061 aircraft grade aluminum which makes this hand guard extremely light and durable. The kit comes with everything you need including plenty of blue loctite. It’s super easy to install and fit perfectly on my Century Arms VSKA. I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a quality AK upgrade without breaking the bank.

Quality handguard
I know there are new handguards with the latest great features and modern looks. But I don't need more features and don't even try to impress anyone by being up to the latest fashions. I simply want the most quality for my money and, for what I need, this handguard is perfect. It was easy to install and fit fine.

Improved the look and feel of…
…my Riley Defense RAK47. Took a bit of effort to install and I actually needed to remove it and reinstall when my barrel cleaning rod would not go back into place. The bright side was that placing the rod back actually centered the handguard nicely and was easy the second time around. I agree with another commenter in that there is a gap between the guard and the gas block BUT it looks pretty mean now and the price was good for the amount of improvement over the wood furniture. This also fixed the loose gas tube on my Riley.

To start i was a little skeptical that it would fit without a bit of work but i ended up being completely wrong the fit and finish ended up looking awesome. As the title reads i put this on my vska i looked around and couldn't find any reviews of people successfully putting the universal handgaurd on said gun. Looks and works great on my PSAK47
I really like my PSAK47, but no good way to add accessories. This solves the problem. Along with a new muzzle break, a bipod, a Romeo 5 red dot,and black furniture..it doesn't look like an AK any longer. Now if I can figure out how to remove the front iron sight, it would look perfect! Note that the handguard is not long enough in the front to secure the now loose ring around the barrel for attaching a shoulder strap. It rattles around. Oh... And absolutely NO instructions. Just the Midwest Industries universal AK47/74 handguard and screws in a clear plastic bag. But even though I'm new to modifying rifles, I got it done �

I purchased to get the qaud picantinny rails. It fit perfect was super easy to install. Really gave my Ak a better feel and look ! Really have would highly recommend! It is well worth the cost to be authentic
