J J's Review of Midwest Industries Upper Receiver Rod
Perfect fit for the m&p 15 sport by Smith and Wesson. There is some slight movement left to right on where it goes into the barrel, but the sail will keep it snug. The shaft itself is a perfect tight fit into the upper.
I also got the larger 308 URR, but that is a perfect fit in my ar-10 for the shaft but the upper part for the receiver did not fit (may need some trimming as the sail fit on its own but not when attached, but fit perfect in my father in law’s DPMS LR-308).
