Tough Body, Excellent Optics
I own the large Brunton 7x40 as well as the tiny Brunton Echo 7x18 scope. This Minox is more elegant, more durable and very much easier to keep handy in a jacket or backpack pocket, due to its shape and size. Being waterproof, I sometimes take it on hikes instead of my Pentax 8x25 waterproof binocular, saving some weight and backpack space. Its close-focusing ability makes it useful in so many ways. Highly recommended, worth the price.

Absolutely fantastic !!!
I purchased with low expectations, I was blown away...
I have spoiled eyes with using Zeiss Victory, Zeiss Conquest and a few Leica units.
This is with me every day when I'm out in the yard or at the park. Clarity is top notch, unit is very durable, and the ability to look at something small 10 feet away in absolute clarity like this makes me want to tell people about it. You could stamp another particular name brand on this unit and probably sell the unit for $300- $350 and it would still meet peoples expectations. I can leave my high end optics in their cases, and not worry about wear and tear on them by using them daily and in using this unit I can get the same performance, and not be shouting profanities if it's dropped in the dirt , or falls onto the gravel path.
