The good qualities of this light are that its small, lightweight and functional, and inexpensive. It however has a annoying feature in that its battery cap is a soft plastic and easy to unintentionally mar and strip when attempting removal. It takes a decent amount of force to remove so the grove ither needs to be made deeper or reinforced with extra hardened material.
Pros:
- Small
- Functional
- leight-weight
- Inexpencive
Cons:
- poorly designed battery cap

Lousy product. Even replaced batteries immediately after opening the box. Won't work, never again. Not trustworthy enough to bet your life on. Continue shopping; cheap plastic, find aircraft grade aluminum.

Perfect light to mount on my home defense pistol. Perfect amount of light to avoid wash out in complete darkness. Would have liked to see a momentary option. Mounting was difficult to get on the rail, but I like how tight the light fits.

I purchased the MFT Torch Backup Light in red/white to be a backup to my main weapon mounted flashlight. I've also used it as an admin light indoors during low light training. It has a low profile and adds almost no weight to my rifle. It was somewhat difficult to get it to slide on my rail, but once there it has a solid fit with no movement. I would recommend as a secondary light in case your primary fails.

Great product,. Would be 5 star if it used 2032 batteries like every other thing does...it’s like adding another caliber. I’m a Sailor and red lights at night is SOP and the red has two levels of illumination that are quick to activate. You need to pres and hold for white, but if you’re buying this for white, I’MO, you’re not thinking it through.

Don’t waste your time or money with cheap pressure switches or over priced lights. You need eyes on target, possible disorientation for enemy...done. $40. Easy to reach mounted thumb or finger side. I have them on all my rifles, high end and low. Do it.

Great little light for what it is. It very small and is good for home protection. I can stand in my kitchen and see my front door with it, that's about 30'. Its not light to go full tactical with by any means. Like it says its a back up light, if your expecting anything more well you're going to be disappointed.

Great little light to see the ground, stairs, and walls. almost no weight and super low profile. The on off switch is not fast but the good thing is you wont turn the light on by mistake. I have not had it long nor have I used it in inclement weather so I can not speak to those aspects of the light. I will probably buy one of these lights for each of my weapons.
Pros:
- Small and light, good quality
Best Used for:
- just what they say a "back up"

Put this on a Kel-Tec Sub 2k because I didn’t want the weight and bulk of a full size light. Works well and is easy to access. Would be great as a backup light or to light your way without killing your night vision on an AR or shotgun.
Pros:
- Small
- Small, very compact
Cons:
- Could be a little brighter

mostly as stated and expected, though the control/function of the button does not offer two modes as claimed by the product literature. not a huge deal, but enough to knock off one star. bought two in two colors to spruce up my tactical stable. great option for a shotgun kept in a scabbard since it doesn't protrude like most lights.
Cons:
- one mode, not two
- not the sturdiest material
Best Used for:
- searching for lost dignity in the dark
- occupying rail space
