Awesome knives use them field dressing deer very sharp easy to resharpin hold up well use multi tool hammer to hit knife to split pelvic bone when field dressing holding up well awesome knife for the price

Good knife, great value
The Mora Basic 511 is a really good knife, and the price makes it a great knife. For hard core bushcraft enthusiasts, there are better options in the Mora line, as well as other manufacturers. This knife is a really good cutter and will tackle some light bushcraft tasks, but it excels as a hunting, fishing, and camp knife. It also does very well in the kitchen. Keep in mind that carbon steel requires a little TLC. No biggie, but handwash, immediately dry, and periodically apply a little mineral oil. I keep a small bottle of mineral oil in my pack and use it anytime I'm out and about and wash my knife. You can force a patina on the blade to help protect it. There are plenty of YouTube videos on that subject.
