I bought this as an after thought as I was checking out so I "assumed" this thing would be like the plastic equivalent to the small ammo cans on sell at most stores..... I was wrong. Its awesome and I actually like it but read the dimensions before buying. Its about half the length of one of the small cans you see at wally world. The previous reviewer was right in that it will hold about 200 - 250 rounds of nine. I actually like having a small one around but wasn't aware I was getting the MINI version. Its my fault and the quality is good so I'll rate it as such.

Great little ammo can for taking to the range or keeping in your vehicle. I use larger cans for storage at home and use these for portability. The cost is decent, and the features match the price. They are plastic, have a nice latch with a rubber seal and are durable enough. TIP: get a few desiccant packs and throw them in the cans with the ammo.

Great Small Ammo Can
The MTM ammo can are really good for the casual range outing. The can will hold a few hundred rounds of 9mm, enough for a decent session. The positives are it is plastic as opposed to the military steel cans that are heavy and scratch stuff up. The can also work against the can if you are looking for something that indestructible, they are tough and durable but not at the level of a steel can.

- not as durable as military can
- capacity smaller than military can
