Wrong dimension! Not 5.4" thick but 3", so beware...
I paid 7.69 plus free shipping. It's not sturdy at all and made like the plastic storage bins at your local walmart or target. So, thin plastic that bends when pressed. Adequate to transport but I wouldn't lock anything in it for long term storage or for extreme banging. I use it for my external hard drive and not for guns. The padding is ok and prevents stuff from shuffling around. Beware that the depth is only 3" and not 5.4" as advertised.

MTM handgun case
This little box is exactly what my live-in house keeper needed for her.380 to make trips more secure. It also serves to help us keep track of her pistol when she's not carrying it.

MTM hand gun case
Nice hand gun case and easy on the pockets. Fits 2 guns in case and will close with ease. I would definitely buy another one. Highly recommend this for a case to take to the range. And can also put a lock on it to.

This is not the third MTM case of this size I've purchased. They are great for me. I like the versatility of them. The locks I use on my handgun hardcases fit perfectly, and I like that they're basic crate foam vs. cut outs. I find this a more flexible system. Example: if storing for a little while, I'll place pistols inside a silicone gun sock, then in the case, easy to do w/ this design vs. precise cut outs in other foam lined cases. They fit in my gun safe perfectly (not too bulky), and in my range bag. For my needs, they have proven a great solution, and a solid, dependable tool I use for storage and tranport. Also super affordable.

I was happy to see that this case is made in America. Simple to open and close, and the specifications and dimensions were according to pictures and the description.

Worth it's weight
Even with the con, I think that for the money it is worth the purchase.
