I really like the compact size to this box. It holds 4 of the 100 round 45 acp ammo boxes perfectly. The shorter height allows me to get more on a shelf and like all MTM products they are very well constructed.

Compact and well built

Fits in my stack on ammo cabinet under the shelf and is a sturdy, well built ammo can. Perfect for going to the range and ammo storage in the safe. Price was also inexpensive compared to harbor freight.

This is an excellent product. With the locking tab you can padlock the can, toss in a dessicant pack with the ammunition and you are good for long term storage. The hinges are strong and I have had no problems with either the .30 or .50 caliber cans holding full capacity. Great for transporting ammo to the range as well. A very functional and well priced item.

Just a nice quality item made in the USA. Sturdy and straight, and nice looking. Also has no foul odor like some plastics due to release agent and plasticizer migration. Good item

Holds a Ruger GP100,4" brl, and 300 rounds of ammo.. A great way to separate firearms, and store, conceal, hide, stash, from those that might want to confiscate, or keep out of Children's hands.
Pros: Good size, stackable, water resistant, lockable..
Cons: Not as tough as steel..

Who needs metal ammo cans

I have had one of these in my truck for a very long time. They can really stand up to a beating. I have several. The 50 cal ones are equally nice.
Pros: lighr, durable, inexpensive, good value.
