Where to start... Total length is ~57” max, which doesn’t work for climbing trees any bigger than a telephone pole. The prusik loop is secured by 2 crimps with heat shrink tubing over it. There is a reason rope manufacturers make prusik loops with the ends sewn together. I’m sure it would hold a static load at first, but I would not trust my life to a couple crimps. And if you do decide to try this lineman’s belt, PLEASE check the knots. Poor knot choices and loosely tied on the one I received. Carabiner seems OK. No issues with OP, great price and well packaged. Very poor product from Muddy.
