Works well easy to mount and remove makes swapping from my scope to reflex sight a quick change has definitely improved the versatility of my AR easy to mount scope with included wrench tension on quick disconnect is easy to adjust the 3/4" rise put the scope at the right height for better visibility

Quality built product purchased for my AR-15 to be able to quickly switch different optics. Originally purchased to mount my NcStar scope from handle mount to rail mount works great and don't have to remove mbus sights. Will be purchasing a couple more in the near future for red dot and reflex sights also.

After adjusting the item for firm fit I
was unable to remove the rail without loosing the adjusting screw.
Pros: Cost

AR Scope Riser

Qualiity and finish of the product is good for the price. I have concern about the stability of the mount over time as the cross bar could be a little wider to sit more firmly in the motch on the rail. It does easily atatch and detach from my AR though which may be the trade off on the cross bar width.

Cons: Confidence level of atatchment security

Intended this as a mount for a scope to allow "quick release" option, but scope proved to be defective and the replacement came equipped that way, so ended up using the riser as a tactical light mount. Works Great. Complete unit, light and mount weigh less than 8oz.

Unexpected performance

At first I really did not know what to expect from this mount...as I have never bought a NC Star product before and all of the mixed reviews online about it left me wondering. However, I was not willing to fork over hundreds of dollars for a mount with the features of this one. Currently, I have it mounted on a Rock River Arms Mid length AR with a ARMS bilevel mid length rail system on it and all I have to say is this thing works great. I slapped a Redfield scope on it with Warne rings and it is very consistent. The screw for adjusting it leaves something to be desired though...you have to be careful not to over tighten it as it will strip and lock tight is a must.
Pros: Price, ease of use, performance
Cons: some parts could be better if made with stronger metal

What more do you need

I mounted my 1-4x scope on my AR with the rail. It has an easy access screw to adjust the tension to the picatinny rail,it's QD and so easy to move, it's is aluminum so it doesn't add much weight...it's just tall enough to clear a standard A.R.M.S. flip up rear but not so as to add too much bore height...it stays put (i added locktight) even with abuse...I can save money on the rail and spend it on better rings...I'm very happy with it, I recommend it to anyone looking for a QD riser rail system
