Screws too short - NC Star RB33 1inch Weaver Style All Steel Med-High Rifle Scope Rings

They are scope rings, I guess they would work if the screws were long enough. I don't know if I received a returned/damaged item but when I tried to tighten the screws on one of the rings, I could only tighten one side or the other by rocking the top half of the ring over the scope. The beginning of the the threads on the bottom ring seemed to be stripped. If the screws were longer they could bite and it would probably be fine. I will stop by Home Depot later and see if I can find some.
Pros: Sturdy design. Easy thumb screws for attachment to the rail.
Cons: Screws too short and/or threads on bottom ring stripped at start.
