Literally the first two I tried, the rounds just fell out, complete garbage. Clips do not retain rounds at all.

I was comcerned at first reading other reviews, but after getting them and getting them loaded, they worked as they were supposed to. Not a single tab broke. Not sure how everyone is bending their tabs. They are not brass as pictured, i will say that.

I have purchased several boxes of these Stripper Clips for storing M855 long term. Like others have stated, these Clips do not have a Brass Liner, but so far it hasn’t been an issue. Out of the box, every Clip has worked fine and hold each round tight. Prior to purchasing, I used Mil Clips that I collected on the range and I honestly can’t tell the difference. The steel liner shouldn’t react with bullet case and the folding lip should hold up better than that of Brass. For the price, I can’t complain… And will probably buy more in the future.
Pros:
- Price
- Quality
- Eas of use.
- Space saver
Best Used for:
- Storage
- Long term storage

buyer note - the stripper clips you receive will not be like the picture. The picture shows brass (the good ones), the ones you receive will be Steel. Steel is cheaper, more brittle, a pain to bend, and snaps easy.

These stripper clips are very loose and the ammunition falls out of them. They aren’t machined the way they should be. I had to crimp and fix the ones that I got. Waste of time and money. Go somewhere else and get them.

Made of all steel, no brass inside. The clips on the outside don’t bend in and they break the rounds won’t stay In either. Bought two packs and they are now in the trash. Don’t waste your money on these

I have seen up and down reviews on these. what can I say its a stripper clip.
they seem to be well constructed not too tight, not too loose. if there too tight you can't get the bullets to strip. so I think these should work out just fine.
GOOD PRICE. FREE SHIPPING. OPTICS PLANET HAS IT ALL!!!!

For some reason it was a little hard to find stripper clips. When I saw these here, I jumped on them. They're alright, a little disappointing. The clip part aren't brass as in the picture. They're a touch loose. The rounds would wobble side to side a bit. My suggestion, get a 420 round can of Federal 5.56 on stripper clips and re-use those clips.

A few days ago I posted a comment that NC Star was a company without integrity and would not replace the 7 stripper clips that the tabs broke off of while I was loading them.
However, within 3 days they did send replacement parts which were lost in the mail. Furthermore, not having received these clips in a timely manner I posted a bad review of NC Star. The stripper clips actually arrived yesteday, and the envelope was postmarked for 3/30/13. Therefore they were actually lost in the mail. So I would like to publicly apologize to NC Star for the bad review I had wrote and submitted on this sight, as they really an honorable company which stands beside their product:
Thanks NC Star,
Eric
Pros: Convenient to keep ammo stored and together
Cons: Metal is to Rigid

4 weeks ago I purchased these stripper clips. out of 20 I had the keeper tabs break on 7. Therefore I contacted NC Star. They Promised to replace the seven broken clips but its been 4 weeks and I still havent seen these promised clips. This is a company of poor honor and integrity. I have been in the military and have used literally 1000's of stripper clips so I can say with cnfidence that I know how to use stripper clips. However, I will never buy another NC Star product again, I hope you dont either.
Pros: No Pros
Cons: poor quality product
