solidly built...great look...sights,lights,lasers,bipod,flip-ups ready for your AK...
for my C39v2 I had to use a heavy file on the inside of the bottom piece...need to increase clearance
by about 3/32 of an inch...fits perfectly after that...heat dissipation is a bit better than the walnut...
went ahead and got the long version, which requires removing the front strap loop...awesome look with a
HERA CQB
Pros:
- great look
- lights/sights for AK
Cons:
- elbow grease required
- heat dissipation weak

Seemed to be a very durable handguard. Has the ability for many options as far as mounting lights, lasers or optics. For the price it’s a good deal. As durable as other Handguards I own like the Arsenal PR-01.

As the title says, Doesn't fit Yugo or Zastava pattern AK 47's. Found that out the hard way when it didn't fit my M70, that's why only 4 stars. Other than that it felt like a good handguard, not cheap and flimsy metal. Was decently thick and didn't bend easy. Its a nice piece if you have; what I'd assume; a standard Russian/Chinese pattern AK.

I have no complaints with this handguard. Installation on my James River Armory/Pioneer Arms AKM was simple, the fit is very good, and with a little loctite on the screws it has stayed secure after approximately 700 rounds. NcStar products seem to be of widely varying quality, the company's optics for example leave much to he desired. This handguard, however, is an excellent value and at a fraction of the price of some other manufacturers you get a functional, stable platform for whatever peripherals you may wish to run.
Pros:
- Price, ease of installation, fit

ThebVism handguard is a decent handguard overall, lightweight, well made and pretty tough for a lightweight aluminum guard. The price was very reasonable for what you get and it installs super easy. I did run into an issue where the top rail mount would not fit my Saiga AK because the gas tube was to big so I had to modify one section of the guard rail by milling then inside screw mount and also the side screw holes. Took me about and hour to complete. But I was able to get the whole assembly installed and you can't tell that the piece was changed in anyway.
Pros:
- light weight
- Easy to install
- Looks cool
