Planned on buying the wrench by itself as it's cheap and I was only going to use it maybe a few times. Found this kit and bought it instead to keep me from driving to the hardware store for punches. Steel punches bent/broke on first use

For the money you can’t beat it, that’s how China is winnng, actively seek American made products and spend the extra money on quality. If you can’t afford it then just own less plastic junk piled in the corner of your house or garage that you don’t have time to use.

Are these the best tools? No. Are they sufficient? Yes. Good tools for the price. If you are a gunsmith spend some money and get something better. You just want decent tools to tinker around and build or work on an AR, these are for you.

Great kit containing almost all of the necessary tools you need to service or build your AR. Love it. Way better than the homemade tools I was using. Even has the mat to lay your parts on for assembly or cleaning

Nothing fancy, but they are decent tools for the price. It would be nice if the roll pouch had a few extra elastic straps, loops and pockets for additional items. The hammerhead is a bit loose, but nothing that can’t be fixed with a bit of glue/epoxy and it is not so loose as to not be functional as is. The sight-tool could use a plastic storage tube, as is it gets caught in the elastic, or instead of an elastic loop an additional pouch to store it in.

This is a great entry level build tool kit, or field repair tool kit. It has all the pieces and does all the things it’s supposed to do, I would highly recommend the green/tan over the black, as little black gun parts blend in too easily with the black the lighter mat makes most parts clearly visible when dropped on the mat.

I am going to enjoy using this tool kit. The AR-15 wrench is well made and I like addition of the .45 barrell key. I will put that to good ise as well. The roll up pouch is not very thick so it rolls up nicely. It is not very thick, but it is well made and I use it for a work mat. I feel like I got my monies worth.

First off if the intention of the Roll-Up Mat was to allow you to work the gun on that mat, then the mat is too shot. Most importantly after making a multitude of changes to my AR's to satisfy the new CA AR laws to my on personal preference, I found the tool kit extremely inadequate. To replace my buffer assembly's with std A2 assembly's I had to go out and buy a spanner wrench. Then to remove the front sight combination gas block there is NO punch to remove the gas tube pin. And if they would have created the Tool Kit/Mat with a little foresight the would have sown in a few extra loops for additional tools and punches. Now anything you add will have to be placed in loosely. As well the quality is in question but based on price a little grace is offered.
I'm not sure I would offer a recommendation to buy. Better quality punches, hammer etc. can probably be purchased at a reasonable price at HF. The multi tool has not been used so can't make a judgment on it.
