Red Dot and Scope
The NcStar Gen 3 is awesome. It looks great and fits perfect. I put it on my AR Pistol and it's everything I wanted and then some. The quick release locking mechanism is a nice feature. The product is quality.
Shipping was quick and timely.

Red Dot Quality
Scope was ok. The red dot looked like it had two dots very blurry. I contacted manufacturer and they stated that I probably have a astigmatism. I do not have any other issues with my other reflex sight. I also had my uncle who shoots competition look through it and he said that it did not look right...

First round fired... Battery flew out of the scope, stripped housing.
I bought this scope about a year ago but due to medical issues I was unable to fire the weapon until yesterday.
I went to a range with a family member to show him my "Finally finished AR" and on the first round downrange the cap securing the AA battery flew almost as far as the ejected shell.
Of course there is no way to get this exchanged or repaired by Optics Planet due to the time I've had it but I'm very disappointed in the lack of build quality (Not the fault of Optics Planet)
I clicked on Yes in the recommendation box only because otherwise the function and look of this scope is what I was looking for.

Red dot works for some
The switch on the red dot is too small to easily turn on/off, unless you have a finger nail that is no shorter than 1/8" long. It was easy to attach and the reticle is nice. I have not zeroed the sights in yet but anticipate no problem in doing so.
