1 green dot and 1 red dot is great when you want 2 separate zeros. If you want to add a magnifier it needs to be a short magnifier or you need long upper rail. Pros: 2 separately adjustable aiming dot!! Cons: Long body may make it hard to mount a magnifier

I don't know if anyone else has the same issue I do but everytime I shoot (5.56) the sight and laser turn off. I've changed the battery and checked the mounting points and everything seems ok. Laser goes out when fired

First of all I really like this scope, but there is a problem. When I fire my weapon the laser goes off, it doesn't matter weather I'm using the green dot or the red laser and it doesn't happen every time. I called them and they said my battery cap was loose so I put a new battery in and got the cap as tight as I could get it, and still have the problem. Next step is to send it in and let them see what they can do with it.

On the cheap

This is and effective scope for non critical and fast target aquasition,would be nicer with a couple more reticles,also the scope is easily turned on if not stored in provided case,easily remove and reinstalled easy to zero as well

NcSTAR 3 Armored Railed Sighting System

Well built optical/laser sight system. Appears that it may be possible to remove the 3 sided rail if not needed and to reduce weight. Had minor problem with sight lighting up at first. Called and got immediate help that solved the problem over the phone.
