Excellent product; the range on this laser is outstanding. I would say it can go further than 450-500 feet no problem, of course it depends on the way you are in the surrounding environment (light/sun). Overall this is a inexpensive laser kit, that does what it's supposed to do. It's easy to install...

Universal laser sight

Works fine on an air rifle, but does not look graceful. Large mount is needed to fit many possible configurations. Lab rather than field equipment.
Pros: almost universal
Cons: Cumbersome

hieght and windage adjustsment are a pain. The wrenches provided are to small for the screws.

Broke on 2nd setup

The unit's screws stripped and its very hard to get it to zero. Im not saying this is the worst thing out there just be very careful with the zero screws.
Pros: bright and,cheap
Cons: screws stripped out
