Very Good for the money
With spending a lot of money on Leupold , Trijicon, and Aimpoint optics, I started to run low on funds. I was looking for a very inexpensive alternative to a dbal or peq 15 style IR. Well not saying that this is close but neither is the price. With costing only 1/10 the price, I had to try it out....

Great laser, subpar overall product
The green laser on this product is very bright. Adjustments feel loose, but seem to hold zero. Quick detach system easy to adjust, but minor play is observed. Battery compartment spring too small, as blunt force on the end cap, or a range trip of shooting will interrupt the connection, requiring me ...

You get what you pay for
Honestly I was impressed with it for a while. I had it on a 22 for a while and it did its job ok. Nothing special. Eventually it just stopped holding zero. It’s ok for the price, but there are much better options if ya save up a few more bucks
Pros:
- Cheap
- Metal housing seems solid
- Ir
Cons:
- Cheap
- Switch plug sucks
Best Used for:
- Airsoft

Great product
Really can’t beat this for the price. Adjustment screws are a bit weak but a little blu loctite did the trick. I wish it sat a little bit lower but the quick release mount is a nice touch. All and all I think it’s a great product. Love it.

great little designator
For the money it’s a great deal. The adjustment screws are a little lacking in stiffness.... but a drop of blue loctite after its set does the trick. So far it’s holding zero and dependable. The mount holds tight and holds zero after adjusting correctly.(read the booklet). Overall it’s perfect for the price range!
Pros:
- cost , quality , lightweight
Cons:
- Takes some experimenting to adjust correctly.
Best Used for:
- Plinking , or self defense

great value along as it come all together
I ordered this dual laser box for a ar build. Am very happy with the item over all but a few small things could def be made better. First the adjustment screws only work with an Allen key would def prefer knobs would make it so much easier. When I received the laser 2 of the buttons had fallen off and I had to pop them back in, easy fix but still a bit disaapointing. Overall I would def recommend purchasing.
Pros:
- Easy use
- ir/green laser
Cons:
- adjustment screws
Best Used for:
- Airsoft

Works great!
Works great right out of the box and shows up great through nods. This is the perfect starter set up for anyone looking for an IR laser for their night vision needs. Pressure plate is a little small but gets the job done!

Bright and tuff
I was impressed by the rugged construction. Definitely worthy of an AR. Laser is strong and bright. My only complaint would be the IR indicator light is a little dim and when light hits it right it can look like it's on so it can be hard to tell what state it is in but this is minor. Definitely worth the money because you get the IR with it.
Pros:
- Rugged and bright
Cons:
- None

NcStar Laser/IR Laser Sight Box
Nice product, body is all metal, the momentary on for the laser and IR Laser is positioned well that you don’t have to use the pressure pad switch, zeroed easy with a bore sighter. Now to take it to the range and fine tune the zero. May put a dab of lock tight in the elevation and windage screws. Only thing that I don’t really like is the pressure switch it’s a bit flimsy and not sure how it would hold up but in all I give this product 5 stars

Not like their scopes...
NcStar makes nice scopes, rails, etc. But this thing here f**king sucks. Period. Im dead serious. Im not trying to bash on NcStar. Like i said... i love theor stuff. This thing is a POS though. Its so fragile that it broke before i ever took it to shoot. Im serious... do NOT buy this. The way that the lasers ate adjusted is a complete joke. Screws that literally push onto the bulb of the lasers. Save your money and buy a cheap holosun.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- everything

Amazing ir laser for the price
I ordered this thinking I’d give it a shot and return it if it feels like it’s awful quality. I didn’t want to drop $1k+ on a dbal etc. This is a solid unit with a good mount and solid buttons and great brightness of lasers. My only complaint is that they didn’t use the dbal style remote switch connector so you are stuck either using the onboard controls or the very bad quality remote tape switch that comes with it. I wanted to use this in conjunction with my surefire vampire light on a dual switch but there’s just no way to hook it up. The remote switch it comes with uses a 3 terminal (stereo) headphone jack and allows control of both green and ir lasers on separate buttons, but its tiny and the cord is not very sturdy and it’s coiled so it’s trying to spring back, so essentially useless for wep mount purposes. Also note that I hooked up an Element (Chinese surefire knockoff) brand dual switch to this since they use a headphone plug, but the element uses mono instead of stereo for the plug. This made it so the ir laser couldn’t be shut off while it was plugged in and the switch controlled the green laser. So not worth attempting unless you plan on doing some soldering and possibly installing a selector switch inside the ncstar unit.
Pros:
- Price
- Quality
- features
Cons:
- Switch
- Nonstandard remote jack
- doesn't look cool
Best Used for:
- Nightvision shooting
- Larping
- invading Canada

NcSTAR Laser Sight Box
For the cost, this is a really nice accessory for your rifle. I have a more expensive IR laser from Steiner on another rifle, however this unit's laser put out is impressive and you get both green along with IR. Went shooting and after some rounds (5.56) being put down range appears to hold zero so far. My brother purchased as well and both he and I are happy with the NcSTAR Laser!!
