Most Helpful Positive Review Great first impressions
For $90 I'm pretty happy with it. It's clear, I love having the variable zoom on it, the illuminated reticle is nice, I personally like turning it on low so it's not a distraction but the reticle is distinguished from your target. I heard a lot of complaints about the site picture being blurry on th...

Most Helpful Negative Review Some Trade-offs to consider in ergonomics and size.. Some pros and cons.
I purchased this with the intent to mount it on a flat top AR style rifle. When I opened the box upon receipt, I could tell that I had been sent someone else's return item. (thanks Optics Planet..) The plastic bags on the box and on the scope inside were torn open and then sort of wadded back toge...

different from norm

by Rick W, Verified Owner from NE, United States Written on October 10, 2025
Product is well built and works as advertised, clear optic just takes a bit to get used to the colored reticle but it does work great. The power settings are a great addition,as well as the brightness settings.
Overall performance is good, we will see over time if it holds up. At this time I do recommend this item.

Good scope

by brad, Verified Owner from SC, United States Written on November 11, 2024
Really good buy for the money. Holds 0 and is really easy to zero in. I was afraid I had made a bad decision until I bolted it on and went to the range. Glad I bought this product, and the blue light really helps when light outside gets low.

Mounted on AR-15 M4 Carbine

by Paul Vetrone, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on September 10, 2024
Noreen receiver with fixed stock,Anderson M4 16" Carbine with Picatinny gas block. FAB Defense Meprolight flip up front and rear sights (backup sights) and DTA muzzlebrake (mid 80s vintage). I really like the P4 Sniper reticle. The quick detachable mount appears to hold zero after several removals, need to do more testing to feel confident in consistency
Pros:
  • reasonable price
  • Easy mount to Picatinny rail
  • Clear Optics nice reticle
Cons:
  • none so far
Best Used for:
  • Self defense

Great for the price

by Troy, from TX, United States Written on February 11, 2023
This is a great scope at a affordable price I have purchased about 5 of them. It is very easy to mount and it is easy to sight in. The magnification is great for something in a intermediate level and still affordable this scope is excellent.

Great Low Priced AR Scope

by Homestead Hunter, from AZ, United States Written on February 2, 2022
Picked this up on a whim for the AR I built for hunting yotes amd javalina. Excellent clarity and eye relief. When I hunt, it's mounted to the front of my quad in kolpin grips and goes through some nasty terrain. It's been on my AR for three years now and after about 2,000 rounds on the range and 12 trips through the mountains, my zero hasn't budged. Highly impressed with it. Just bought another one for the AR I'm building my wife.
Pros:
  • Holds zero
  • clear optics
Cons:
  • None so far
Best Used for:
  • ar platfrorm

Pick of the litter

by Benjamin Conrad, from MN, United States Written on May 29, 2021
I decided to go on a buying spree to find the best, cheap optic. I baught 8. Firefield barage 2.5-10X40, UTG Bugbuster 3-9X32, Pinty 2.5-10x40 and few others in the same class and price range. This one was, by far, the best. Better glass, clearer image, better eye releif, put about 150 rounds of 55grain 5.56 with my 11.3" Wilsoncombat protector pistol. No issses holding zero. After initially installing it, it did feel a bit loose on the rail, i tried shooting anyways. That problem got worse untill i realised you can tighten down the bolt on the oposite side of the QD latch. Tighed it up and havnt had any issues after 150 rounds+.
Pros:
  • good for price
  • Clear , holds true , retical
Cons:
  • No fast adjust lever for zoom
  • Diopter adjustment is a bit tight
Best Used for:
  • fun at the range

very good compact acog-ish scope

by Brad, from NM, United States Written on April 4, 2021
Great glass. Clear without any noticeable distortion. The reticle is a bit thick and the illumination just washes the entire reticle as well as the inside of the tube. I run this with a 45° offset red dot for cqb shooting so no prblem. I love the 3-9 magnification.for those longer shots. The magnigivation rimg turns like butter. The scope is lightweight.

No batteries in scope or red dot

by J Dub, from NC, United States Written on January 13, 2021
Just got the p4 sniper gen 3 and the instructions say batteries are included. Evidently not because there are no batteries in either. Not good!! I could understand if the batteries weren’t suppose to be included, but cmon.
