I’m very happy with this purchase. After a week or so field testing I have no complaints. I keep my mobile ham radio, a battery and an antenna there and can take it with and deploy easily. Everyone asks about the bag it’s the perfect size.
Pros:
- Perfect size for gear. Offers protection and convenience.
Cons:
- Needs a handle / strap on top. So made one out of paracord.
Best Used for:
- Radio communications, tactical considerations, impressing your friends (except OpsCore fans)
- radio communications gear.

Since Optics Planet no longer produces their version of this bag, the OPMOD EDC Series P.A.C. 4.0 Personal Articles Carrier, (I own two of them) I opted for this one instead. It is virtually identical to the OPMOD bag which is exactly what I was hoping. The only thing it's missing is the ability to clip the shoulder strap attachment clips that remain attached to the bag together, once you detach the shoulder strap, to make a short carry handle. A small feature that I wouldn't have noticed was lacking if I didn't already own the OPMOD version of the bag. This is not a deal breaker at all, just an observation. The bag is stitched well, has smooth zippers and seems well constructed. For this price point I don't think you can beat this bag if this is the style you're looking for. I will buy again. Hopefully, NcSTAR will keep producing them.

I actually purchased this to use as a muzzleloading pack to put my extra powder, patches and muzzleloader balls in as well as screw driver, allen wrench, flints and other nescessisties I may need or not, I like the way it hangs on my side I can acess the pouch with ease and it stays out of the way

I was looking for a good home defence bag. Something I could pop out of bed in my underwear, throw around my neck and go check out a bump in the night.
I didn't want anything too large, had to have molle for AR and Glock mags. Room for phone, knife, trauma bandages and my car keys.
When I found this I was very skeptical. I carry a Maxpedition every day and have some high end custom gear, my taste are very demanding.
Anyways, I am amazed at the quality. I did spend a little time with a lighter burning some edges to prevent fraying, but for the most part the seams are taped and finished.
The one feature I wish it had would be a grab handle. There are two D-Rings on top that I will fashion a paracord handle with.
Love it.
Pros:
- Price
- Quality
- Organization
- accessibility
Cons:
- Some unfinished seams
- No grab handle
Best Used for:
- edc, day hike, commute to and from work, maybe 3 day if packed smartly.
- First responders
- Active shooter bag

Very happy with product. Plenty of room really surprised. Can't beat the price. Replaced a Maxpedition which I think is extremely over rated and price to much. Check with Maxpedition on repair when you need a zipper. No product service.
Ordering and shipment great. Prompt delivery. Highly recommend product and Optic PLanet
Pros:
- Price, performance and warranty
Best Used for:
- Everdy carry totake all my gear to and from work

In my opinion, this bag is better than most I have seen for 4 times the price. I was pleasantly surprised on its quality, functionality, and comfort.
First - it really feels comfortable to wear. It conforms and hangs well on the body. It also has quick detach buckles.
Second, it has LOTS of pockets. Great for organizing gear.
Third, the external holders are very adjustable.
Forth, the construction is durable - not the cheap stuff the easily rips. It is very rugged.
Fifth , I love the concealed back pocket for a gun.
I like this bag so well, I plan on buying a second one soon.
Pros:
- Durability
- Comfortable
- Functionality
- QUALITY made

I really shopped around for the right bag for my needs. I use this primarily for Deer hunting which consist of morning and afternoon hunting. I use it for my calls, bow and shotgun stuff, and gloves, scent control spray, etc. It has enough room for everything and a good variety of pockets. I didn't want a large backpack for short excursions so this small over the shoulder type worked great. I will be getting another one as a small range back as well. It is put together well, I have no complaints. Highly recommended!
Pros: small size with lots of pockets
Cons: none that I have seen

The mag pouches will only work for a smaller pistol magazines. Glocks mags won't fit. May have to put a flash light in the pouch.
Pros: Great bag for the price. Lots of pockets and room.
Cons: Mag pouches too small for Glock magazines
