Great for storage and a day at the range
This case is amazing. Rather than buying a shooting mat and a case, this takes care of both tasks very well. There are four clips above the zipper to give extra support. You can carry it in hand or use the shoulder straps. There are definitely rifle cases out there with more pockets but the NcStar at least has MOLLE webbing. This means that you can attach many cases, especially military style, to the case as you please. The price is a little high but I think it's worth it.

great rifle case/shooting mat
This is a well thought out product. Much more than a great case but also a well designed shooting mat. Heavy duty materials and great features.

Great case. Originally I didn’t plan on using it as a mat, but became my go to. Durable, convenient, mat has started to wear a little bit towards the knees also due to bending inwards to close up case. Would buy again.

One improvement needed
The zipper flap on each end did not come with a fastener strap. It could use more padding to protect the rifle better and more comfortable to rest your elbows. I don’t like the zipper as those nylon or plastic zippers aren’t as durable as the brass or aluminum. Other than that it is a good rifle case with a shooting mat built in.

Excellent product
This is bar none the absolute best gun case/shooting mat on the market and it's unbelievable that the price is so low. I actually purchased two in the last month. Will be purchasing a couple more soon.

Excellent product - the straps are strong you could use one or two of the back straps depending if your in a hurry —-well made but I wish it had more storage pockets — great product for the money — I would recommend as a buy

Far higher quality than I was expecting!
Really just looking for protection for my a rifle but was pleasantly surprised by the stitching and well thought out ergonomics of this product. At this price you won't be disappointed! The zippered cover are well made, the shoulder straps are comfortable( the waist belt could be better) all in all I am overly satisfied with this purchase

VISM rifle case/shooting mat
This case is great. I like that there are handles to carry it, backpack straps, and a drag handle. All these handles tuck away behind Velcro pockets when you’re not using them. My 20in AR with the suppressor attached fits just right. It is handy not having to carry my rifle and a shooting mat. Keeps me out of the grass where the ticks are. Well thought out placement of pockets

Best value
I started out looking for just a shooting mat as I found a range where I will be shooting prone. In shopping around I started seeing these 'combo' mat/bag choices. So set my sights on getting something that served as a shooting mat and gun bag. I've seen these priced a little cheaper and a whole lot more. I settled on this one because of its features. Clear window, inside storage, carrying handle or shoulder strap choice and it fit my rifle/scope. I found this to be made of good quality strong materials that should last me a long time. Heavy duty zipper that should also stand up to hard tugging. In hindsight I would not have bought anything else. This will suit my needs and fit my budget.

48" rifle case shooting mat
Very good case, and long enough for my magnum rifle, which can be problematic when shopping. Rip-stop nylon is almost indestructible and it has pockets for everything that you take with you out to the range or into the woods. And the added feature of having the built in shooting mat really makes this a good choice.

Great Deal With Tiny Flaw
Quality materials and excellent workmanship combined with low pricepoint make this another outstanding deal from OpticsPlanet. The only tiny design flaw is that the molle strips run up and down, meaning any attached mag pouches will be positioned horizontally ( the horizontal strips on the opposite side of the bag are fully stitched to the bag and can not be used for molle attachments ).
