Lancer L7 Advanced Warfighter Magazine, .308
I bought the transluscent, black bottomed magazine with a 5 round capacity to use with my Ruger RPR. The magazine is top quality with metal reinforcement and feed lips. Most magazines won't allow the bolt to close when empty. The design of this one does allow the bolt to close. Meaning, for me, that I can hand and single feed a round and close the bolt. This is useful to me in my working up loads for my rifle.
It is a comparatively expsensive magazine but Optics Planet has the best price on it that I have found. They shipped it right out and I received my order with out delay.
The two Magpul mags that came with my rifle are still in their plastic bags as this magazine has met my needs. In a bolt gun, 5 rounds is ample.

Good batteries

I ordered these at the time I ordered my Sig Sauer Range-Finder to have extra batts on hand. These are hard to find, if not impossible, locally. Gave 4 star only because they were not in stock when I ordered them and it took a couple weeks to get them. I will buy again when I need more

Totally happy

I studied very hard about spotting scopes given there are so many to choose from and given the amount of money I had budgeted. I actually tired of researching spotting scopes. I chose this one over the Swarovski 20-60x65 (due to price), a Pentax 80 w/ separate eye piece, another Leupold (12-40), Vortex's Razor and a Howa with similar specs. I wanted 60x and an 80mm objective and good quality glass. And preferably a spotting scope with a reticle. And for around $2000.
The selling factor was during my process this scope went on sale to around $1700s and it came with a $250 Gift Certificate. 'An offer I couldn't refuse.
This scope met my 'wants'. I just got it and have not used it a lot. But, I do not lose any resolution and get a clear edge to edge view scoping at 60x and so far out to 1300 yards. The photo showing the reticle, Mil Dot, makes the reticle look large and obtrusive. In real life it is thin and almost non-descript and does not block the view. The scope comes with a well made soft case that it 'wears' during use. The scope was made with military sales in mind and is very well made. Solid/robust. It is not a large spotter so stands very steady on my small table top tripod. I am most satisfied with my choice and it works for me!

VISM Soft Rifle Case w/ PALS Webbing, 48in
I started out looking for just a shooting mat as I found a range where I will be shooting prone. In shopping around I started seeing these 'combo' mat/bag choices. So set my sights on getting something that served as a shooting mat and gun bag. I've seen these priced a little cheaper and a whole lot more. I settled on this one because of its features. Clear window, inside storage, carrying handle or shoulder strap choice and it fit my rifle/scope. I found this to be made of good quality strong materials that should last me a long time. Heavy duty zipper that should also stand up to hard tugging. In hindsight I would not have bought anything else. This will suit my needs and fit my budget.

J. Dewey Shooter's Choice BoreSolvent
I sually use Hoppes 9 solvent. I bought this to try it. I like the 'eye dropper' attachment. as it is nicer than pouring or dipping. SC works great. Delivery time was extraordinarily slow, especially for Optics Planet. So far can't tell any difference. So will buy which ever is available next time I need some solvent.

I did as I am sure you all are doing, a lot of research before setting on this scope. I bought the MRAD version. It has the most features for the money, IMO. The glass is very clear and a super sharp reticle with a wide focusing range. It came with, the turret adjustment wrench, front and rear flip up scope caps, a battery (2032) for its illuminated reticle. There are 11 power settings for illumination and an 'off' detent between each (so you don't have to adjust clear back/forth to/from 0.
I have 10 Mils of adjustment per rotation. As I just opened the scope there appears to be 3 and maybe four rotations for elevation. I also bought Vortex's Precision Extended Cantilever Mount (35mm) which is very robust. The scope also appears very robust (strong, well built), though mine is marked 'made in Japan' (I understood Vortex was making their scopes in the USA these days- no matter, great scope). The scope is very handsome and has a deep bronze - grayish finish, which I like given all the scopes that are just black. The scope is very tightly put together (a good thing)and manipulating adjustments have just the right amount of firmness and force needed to move any (to my taste).
I will be mounting and using it with a Rock River Arms in 6.5 Creedmoor. The instructions are very complete and easy to understand. Also there are many Vortex Youtube videos for any other assistance. This scope was within my budget and the next nearest and higher priced was a Steiner. The glas

Vortex Viper 1x24mm Reflex Red Dot Sight
I did a lot of research before buying the Viper for my SW MP 9 CORE. I used the #5 plate that came with the gun to mount the Viper. Took me longer to remove the cover plate on my slide than it did to mount the Viper.
I like all the features except two. The battery mounts underneath the sight and means you have to remove the sight to change it. And the adjustments have lock screws that are hard to get to because the rear sight on my model gun is in the way. But, I can easily live with both of these given the price of the Viper compared to other 'like' sights.
Viper is solidly made and robust. Brightness adjustments are easy to do and I keep mine on low. Turning on/off is easy and hard to do by accident. This sight co-witnesses very well. I contacted Vortex and was told the Viper is 'mechanically zeroed' and I found I did not have to make any adjustments to windage or elevation to 'zero' mine.
In my research there was a choice of sized 'dots' in MOAs to pick from among the makers. The Viper came with a 6 MOA dot size and I am perfectly happy with its size. At 25 yards it covered a bit over an inch and was easy to see. That is the longest distance I figure to shoot a pistol. So I'd say, if you're deciding, a 6 MOA is a good choice.
Couldn't be happier and I got a prompt reply from Vortex to my question (about what distance the Viper was set at for zero). This sight does whatever the other sights of its kind does and does it at the best price I found. Highly r

Great customer service!

I was unsure whether this would fit my carbine length AR. Sent OP an inquiry. Two types are available and not knowing sight unseen I ordered both after finding out both would work on my gun. I returned this one and had no problem receiving a prompt refund. I own several Magpul products and have found all to be of top quality and good fit and finish.
Iv'e also ordered more than a few times products from Optics Planet and highly recommed Optics Planet. Good selection, good prices, quick shipping, and top notch responsive customer service.

Great optic and customer service
Written on Apr 24, 2017
I've always had the opinion that my AR (5.56) was a 300 yard firearm, but, I always used iron sights. I decided to get the Trijicon ACOG to get the most mileage out of my rifle. I have an 'off the shelf' AR and not one set-up for the real long range or competitive long range shooting. So, this optic filled my bill perfectly. To most, including me, this seems like an expensive optic but after now having one I can see why it is priced as it is and imo believe it worth the price. Very clear glass, clearest, or as clear, of any scope I've owned or peered thru.
The reticle (red chevron) is smaller than I expected but I am now used to its size and no problem. A complaint I read was its eye relief, but, I am not having a problem with that distance.
I had some questions about the scope and ammunition ballistics and zeroing, etc. I sent Trijicon a couple emails regarding these and I was promptly and very informatively replied to. Awesome service and again adds to the value of the optic that I paid the money for.
I like the reticle choice I made. Red and Chevron. Was undecided before ordering but I made the right choice for me. The point of the chevron = zero MOA coverage over any target. I can literally be 'pin point' with it. I reco this optic and would not try to buy a clone at any price.
