Good fit and finish on this upper but I’m a little confused about the dust cover. I guess I’m just going to assume that I’m not running one on this build. It’s a slick looking design and to be honest it’ll never see a dust storm but it still just looks a little incomplete to me.

This upper is high quality 7075 aluminum and as far as I can tell has absolutely no issues with it. I wanted to do something unique with my AR-10, so I decided that as a lefty, I was gonna put together a left handed AR-10, so I went with the left hand upper. The barrel was nice and tight when installing and once the barrel nut was tightened down, the entire upper was absolutely rock solid and had no issues headspacing with a stag AR10 bolt. The only issue I ran into was fitment with my lower, which was a Juggernaut Tactical JT-10 lower. JT advertises that any DPMS style upper should fit, but when I went to install this guy the curvature between the gas tube and trigger group wasn't quite right and didn't let the upper sit flush, nor would it allow the rear takedown pin to go through. Trying another DPMS style upper had the same result so I know it wasn't the upper itself. A little bit of sanding allowed them to mate properly and now there are no issues.

I recommend avoiding Juggernaut Tactical's AR-10 lowers, I have no doubt that if it was any other lower that advertised fitment with any DPMS style upper, I would not have had any issues.
