I purchased my first NXS R-1 W/Zero Stop over 10 years ago and the only regret I had was buying the 50mm Objective Lens rather than the 56mm. That being said I have established a relationship with Nightforce scopes and my favorite rifles. Coupled with Nightforce 20 degree mounts, Nightforce rings and Nightforce cosine angle indicator and level in front top ring I have rifles in six calibers shooting sub half minute groups at 100 yards! Beat that!
Pros:
  • Tough, hold focus and sight, great lens, superb zero stop, top quality, superb customer service!
Cons:
  • Little heavier than some competitors
Best Used for:
  • Long range hunting and shooting
