Installed the NightForce Competition to my Bergara HMR Pro 6,5 creedmoor. Everything is easy and very clear past 800 yards. Elevation and windage dials are very distinct and accurate. The only complaint I have is it’s not illuminated. But this is more of a me problem and not the scope problem. If you really want to test your marksmanship and your rifle accuracy, this is the scope for you. Buy it if you can afford it, you won’t find anything better than this. Came from Vortex PST Gen ll and the difference is night and day.
Pros:
- accuracy
- Very clear glass
- easy to zero in

What an awesome scope! The clarity at distance of this scope is incredible. I have installed this on my Christensen Arms MPR Competition .308 rifle. Besides looking great, the scope has a crystal clear sight picture and the range of magnification is very wide (this is why I bought it). Highly recommended - worth the price if you want a reliable long distance scope.
Cons:
- Price $$$ - unfortunately good things come out a price.
Best Used for:
- long distance
- competative shooting

Clear, beautiful glass. I can really see how much more practice I need as a marksman. Fully zoomed in at 100 yards, a full sized sight-in target pretty much fills the viewable field. The cost is significant, but if you can afford it, I highly recommend doing so.

Excellent product . I really don’t see how anyone could be unhappy with this rifle scope. The crosshairs are extremely fine. Target work only, but that’s what you bought it for. All nightforce products are excellent. Definitely would buy again
Cons:
- Crosshairs extremely fine

Been using this scope on my custom .22 benchrest rifle now for two years. Faultless performance, turret adustments are precise, we frequently shoot in changing wind conditions and there is no problem adjusting point of aim.

I purchased this scope to replace a quality brand fixed power scope on my 30BR. I am pleased with the crystal clear clarity of the optics and the sharp reticle. The variable power gives me more magnification on overcast days, and the ability to reduce the magnification and mirage on hot sunny days. One inch groups at 300 yards. That's OK for this novice. A bit heavy. I had to trim almost 8 oz from the gun to stay within weight limits.
Pros:
- Clear and bright
- Clear and bright view, easy parallax adjustment, repeatable windage and elevation settings.

I have been using this scope for a better part of two years. I used it in high power ftr and fopen class shooting. At first I was not too happy, but that was due to operator error. Right now this scope sits on top of my small bore 22lr. rifle and its working very well for this old man.

May be the best glass that I've ever experienced ... certainly the best in my collection.
Scope is made for one thing: Competition type sports ... my application was benchrest 22LR. With the fine crosshairs ... it would be an unlikely candidate and ultimately a possible liability for hunting; even under the brightest of conditions.
Scope adjusts with firm 1/8" MOA clicks and parallax adjustment is an ease and very precise: there's little doubt when you get there. Turrets are marked a bit larger than most which I personally consider a plus.
Pros:
- Glass & turret adjustment

Nightforce has hit a home run with this scope. As stated above, this is my second purchase of one of these scopes. They both are of exceptional quality. The glass is clear, the adjustments are crisp, precise and repeatable. Both are C514 models.
Best Used for:
- Long range shooting.
- Competion
