Tight scope
Great glass, very sharp image through top magnifications, and very durable construction. Called Nikon and if you purchase from an authorized dealer you get the no fault warranty so if you drop the scope and crack the glass or it falls in water they will replace or repair it great product great company highly recommend.
Affordable plus best in class
If you want a very good scope for mid range shooting and hunting, I think the monarch 5 4-20 is perfect.
The bdc reticule pemits to be very precise and the scope is capable to provide Avery good light even in dark times of the day.
This scope is also perfectly suited to new shooters as the it’s very easy to setup.

Great Magnification
I bought this for an AR 10 in 7mm 08. Good caliber, so I thought "Why not put a good scope!" Easy focusing, adjustment from 4 to 20, with my old eyes, that'll make seeing my target MUCH EASIER! It came with the sunshade....haven't decided on that yet. As soon as I define my 'load' for that particular rifle, I'll send in for the laser etched elevation dial.

Nikon Monarch 5 4-20x50
Was looking for a scope that would help me hunting, especially moving into dusk. The 50mm objective will do just that, along with the 4-20 zoom. Also like the custom XR turret, which I will complete once my 'load' is complete.

Custom 7 mag
The Ed glass is great and the xr turrets make for easy ranging. The adjustable objective knob is a different but easy to become accustom to. This scope comes with acope covers and a sun shade. I have it mounted with dnz mounts for a rock solid set up.

good scope!
Bright and clear view.
Easy to operate.
Just good magnification.
Useful "Nikon Spot-on".
I have hunted deer in Japan.
It is often aimed at the prey of 100-300m away.
My hunting life is now happily thanks to this product.

Good Optics, Holds Position Well
I was worried about the usebility of the 20x power, but had no reason to worry. Optics are excellent... Lots of light, no problem with mirage at 20x. Glad I didn't get the 4-12x or 4-16x. Super fast and easy to site in and holds the settings on my 270 wsm no problem. The 1" tube seemed small, but did not seem to affect amount of light. The 50mm objective made a lot of difference compared to my 42mm scopes. Also love the Spot On app which I have on my android.
